How does it work?

24/7 AI monitoring backed by manned control centers connected to local fire services.

Lithsafe: Advanced 24/7 Site Monitoring with Radiometric Thermal Imaging

Lithsafe provides continuous, around-the-clock monitoring of your site using state-of-the-art radiometric thermal imaging technology. This advanced system, often described as "Infrared on steroids," is capable of detecting even the slightest temperature fluctuations. Each camera is equipped with sophisticated AI that can distinguish between overheating due to mechanical issues and natural temperature variations, such as those on hot days.

If the system detects any abnormal thermal activity, it immediately alerts our manned control center. Here, trained operators assess the situation and, if necessary, coordinate with emergency services, in the event of fire.

Upon arrival, emergency responders can utilize the on-site safety equipment (see below) specifically designed to manage vehicle fires.

FX All in one extinguisher:

Ideal for tackling small fires. This all in one powerhouse of an extinguisher can be used on anything. It's rapid knock-down of flame and unrivalved post fire control makes this the ultimate extinguisher for use with vehicles.

Large fire blanket:

These are utilised to cover the vehicle, either halting combustion or preventing it from occurring. However, it is important to note that even after the blanket is applied, the vehicle's battery may continue to experience thermal runaway. During this process, the vapors and gases released can be potentially explosive, and appropriate measures must be taken to disperse these safely.

An underbody spray lance:

This tool is essential for mitigating thermal runaway in EV batteries, which are typically situated in the underside of the vehicle. By effectively cooling the battery, the underbody spray system helps stabilize the situation until the vehicle can be safely removed from the charging area.

Each of our lances is equipped with the appropriate coupling compatible with local fire service vehicles, ensuring quick and seamless connections that enable rapid cooling.

On average, fire services have been known to use up to 1,200 liters of water per minute to cool the underside of electric vehicle (EV) fires. In contrast, the lance we utilize operates with only 70 liters per minute, significantly reducing polluted runoff and minimizing environmental impact.

Under body spray in action

Designed to cool EV batteries by sliding it under the car. Proper balance between droplet size, stream density, water quantity and kinetic energy allows to remove two components in the same time, which is heat – by rapid cooling and oxygen - by evaporation and steam generation making local inert atmosphere. Low water consumption ( 70L/min) together with perfect shape of mist stream and water droplet size  makes it very effective.

Security

Security

Our AI system serves as an essential component in combating cable theft, providing an additional layer of protection. The AI is capable of discerning when an individual is present near your charging points without a vehicle, triggering an immediate alert to our control room. This enables human operators to intervene, delivering a real-time warning through the PA system to notify the individual that they are under surveillance.

For enhanced security, the system can also integrate ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) and facial recognition technologies, offering comprehensive protection against unauthorized access and criminal activities. This advanced approach ensures the highest level of security for your site.
